Sorry for the silly question, but can you set featured images for the portfolio posts?

Yes i can. The problem is that the featured image column does not display, and it is not an option under ‘Screen Options’.

Did you look under “Featured Images” => “Image Columns”?

Yes. I have selected the ‘Portfolio’ in ‘Image Columns’. As I said, it works on all lists apart from this one.

Couldn’t help quickly. The plugin does not ban columns named “Portfolio” or whatever. I think this is a theme issue.

Weird. The Theme people say that the Portfolio custom posts are registered in exactly the same way as all the other posts. Thanks anyway.

This woke up my curiosity. Unfortunately the theme is not for free so I can not look into the code.

    Hello David,

the bug occurs at registering the post type if the post type name is
not the same as the the post type slug. That is the case at the
portfolio type. At all other types the name and the slug are equal.
Greetings to the plugin developers at GT3 πŸ™‚

But it is also true that I am not satisfied with the behaviour of my
plugin under this circumstances. The image column appears even if its
checkbox is not activated for the new post types and the column at
Portfolio should appear. So I will do some work at my plugin and try
to implement it in the next upgrade.

    Thanks for your cooperation.
