Through my site (http://www.dannydietz.org/merchandise/) when someone adds an item to the cart, then proceeds to checkout, they are presented with a message saying :”Your shopping cart is currently empty.” Please try for yourself. This is the same bug that has seemingly been around for years and years now.

I’ve updated my PHP.ini file using this method and it didn’t work.

Last week the cart worked fine. This week it does not. I did not add/change any plugins or change my theme at all since then. Only thing I can think of is that something happened on the host side but I have no idea what. I’m on PHP version 5.6.

How do I fix? Any ideas? This is pretty urgent and I really appreciate any and all help.

    EShop Version: 6.3.12

    Thanks,
    Alex

    Anyone?

Can you replicate the issue using the default 2015 theme with all other plugins deactivated?

    Yes I can. Issue persists.

It’s not using 2015 atm and there are other active plugins running. That said, this sounds like a sessions issue, so it would be worth asking your hosts about it. Explain that PHP sessions are not being saving correctly on your site and could they please investigate this.

Thanks, I contacted my host and they updated session.save_path within my php.ini file. I had previously done this to try to fix the issue but I did not have the correct path listed as they changed some things on the server side. All is well now.

    Excellent! 🙂
