Thanks Christian for your question. I cannot see any shortcode placed there. It should at least say ” [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS] “.
Are you sure you placed it?
Could you please clear cache? By that, I mean…
– The browser cache, see https://www.solutionbay.com/solutions/dont-know-how-to-clear-the-cache-1
– Please also check if you have a cache plugin installed. If so, please disable it temporarily, and check if it’s ok now
Yes it is there but you can’t see it unless you access the backend, see below, I have created a test page with only [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]

The shortcode [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS] is just text which should show on the front-end (in case the feature isn’t working i.e. the icons don’t show). If the shortcode [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS] doesn’t show on your site on https://www.inspiredefficiency.co.uk/test/ then it means the issue is not in the USM plugin but in your page editor.
Thanks…
I have removed the page builder and used the default WordPress editor, no change, the short code is under the text that says “The short code is directly under here.”?

I have also updated WordPress, themes and all plugins and cleared the cache, but no luck yet.
I disabled all plugins apart from “Social Media and Share Icons”, no change,,, I then disabled that one as well and then I could see the short code.
Is there anything else I can try, would upgrading work?
I am now seeing the following message after deactivating and reactivating, but I can’t see any email (checked spam)? Would this cause it to stop working?
“Please confirm your email by clicking on the link we sent to [email protected]. This makes sure you’re not a bot.”
Great,, all working… Thanks
