Having exactly the same issue. I even set the album to unsure, but the plugin still picks it up on my website.
Hello
First thing I would do is add quotes around the results_page options, for example,
[cws_gpp_albums results_page=’?p=1896′ hide_albums=’Auto Backup,2017/06/07′]
Thanks
I added the quotes, the backup is still there.
I always had the quote in my shortcode, here is my shortcode and the problem persists
[cws_gpp_albums theme=’grid’ results_page=’pictures’ show_title=1 show_details=0 num_results=20 hide_albums=’Profile Photos (draft),Profile Photos,Auto backup’]
@malss21 – If you only try and hide Auto Backup using the following shortcode does that work?
[cws_gpp_albums results_page=’?p=1896′ hide_albums=’Auto Backup’]
@foley2013 – If you try [cws_gpp_albums theme=’grid’ results_page=’pictures’ show_title=1 show_details=0 num_results=20 hide_albums=’Auto Backup’]
If that hides ‘Auto Backup’, start adding albums back in one by one to see when the issue starts.
Thanks
It doesn’t work :/
All of my albums I use are “Shared to my library” I didn’t upload any of them. I am also using the free version.
The album is named different things – in picas it is 2017/06/07 and in google photos it’s AUTO BACKUP.
I am having the same issue. Just installed this plugin today. I cannot get the hide_albums= function to hide my Auto Backups or Profile Photos. I am using one of the example short codes found in the plugin guide.
[cws_gpp_albums theme=carousel dots=1 slidestoshow=3 slidestoscroll=1 autoplay=1 arrows=1 results_page=results-carousel show_details=1 show_title=1 num_results=6 hide_albums=’Profile Photos']
Hello
Make sure when you copy and paste shortcodes that the single quotes around hide_albums value are not mushed.
I can see from the example above that they are 2 different types of quotes.
The plugin will not understand that.
Also make sure to enter the shorted in the ‘Text’ tab not the ‘Visual’ tab
Here is an example:
[cws_gpp_albums theme=carousel dots=1 slidestoshow=3 slidestoscroll=1 autoplay=1 arrows=1 results_page=results-carousel show_details=1 show_title=1 num_results=6 hide_albums=’Profile Photos’]
Thanks
Thanks! For me it was the quotes. I retyped it out and put in the single quotes around the album name and now the album is hidden.
hide_albums=’Auto Backup’
Thank you! Solution worked for me as well.
That worked for me as well. Thank you for sorting this out.
I can’t edit hide auto backup folder. Below is the code I am using
[cws_gpp_albums hide_albums=’Auto Backup’]
Is it because I am using FREE version?
Hi
I will not be because you are using the free version. It will either be because the album name is not correct or the quotes are not correct around the album name.
Try copying and pasting this to see if it helps.
[cws_gpp_albums hide_albums=’Auto Backup’]
