short code not working

    If short codes are not working, I would think that means your plugin no longer works: it may be incompatible, but check first if it’s acidentally turned off.

    I have checked, it is in activated mode. I have installed latest verion of “Shortcode Ultimate” plugin which is compatible with the ugraded version of WordPress

    Regardless, shortcodes have nothing to do with the Reponsive theme, as far as I know.

    You are right remark.no. I got the solution. The Comprehensive Google Map Plugin was breaking the path to shortcodes. After deactivating it all is well now.
