I am following the directions here
http://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/132-conditional-menus

but the menu still only shows the actual {first_name} as the menu title

Hi @sethmorris1,

What page you’ve set to show {first_name} {last_name} as a menu item is it your User page?
Please make sure that you’ve logged in to the site.
If it still doesn’t work, please do a quick conflict test so we can rule out theme/plugin conflicts. How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?
