short post – full post

    Dear All,

    I’m a pretty new to a WordPress. Lately I played with it and everything seems to be easy, but there is one problem that I just can’t figure out.

    So my question is:
    How can show the “full post” of the story where “shot story” will not be shown/displayed.

    In other words, when I use read more tab for the content on my blog, I want visitors to be able to click on the read more tab and to be able to read a full content, but in this case I don’t want to show the content which is above read more tag (when adding the story).

    Then you should show the_excerpt first and the_content on a full page.

    Dear ChantalC,

    Thank you for writing! I’m not sure if this is a solution to my problem. Maybe it is, but at this point it is not logical to me. Can you explain it further, example will be much helpful if you can find any!

    When I use the_excerpt my photo from short story (content above the read more tag line) isn’t displayed and the definition of the read options is missing (a link for continu the reading). the_excerpt use (…) and this is not what I would like to do.

    I searched whole web but couldn’t find solution to my query! This options is very easy made in Joomla (through administration panel).
    I guess this can been done in wordpress too, through code, or something. Please, anybody?
