Hi,
When inserting affiliate links into your content via Classic editor, you can choose to insert them as a shortcode.
Please see our guide here:
How to insert affiliate links into your content
Hi,
Not sure if that addresses my query in relation to the plugin I mentioned 😉
Hi,
Let’s say the social media message is “Check out this [thirstylink ids=”1123”]product[/thirstylink]
If for example, the plugin doesn’t run the shortcode before posting to Facebook,
then the Facebook message will show an awkward shortcode in it instead of a link.
Hi,
Thank you for that,
What I’m looking for the plugin to perhaps create is a shortcode such as :
[thirstylink linkid=16774 linktext=”123Flowers”] so I can call it from another plugin.
At the moment, the plugin produces :
https://www.SITE.com/recommends/123-flowers/
Can this be achieved, please?
Many Thanks
Hi,
The shortocode for a ThirstyAffiliate link must be in this format:
[thirstylink ids=”1123”]product[/thirstylink]
Hi,
I have created, in the “Custom Fields” a field called {ta-link}
Is there a way I can set the “value” field with a TA shortcode that will populate it with the affiliate link?
Hope that makes sense 🙂
Many Thanks
