Shortcode Appears Reverse On Homepage?

Any idea why this is occuring?

Using WP-PostRatings shortcode on individual pages it looks proper:

But when I use the shortcode on my homepage the elements appear in reverse:

This is especially a problem because when a user votes the normal fashion of 1-5 star is now 5-1 star, so on pages if a user clicks the first start it is a ‘1 star rating’, but on the homepage if a user clicks the first start it is a ‘5 star rating’.

I have tried encapsulating it in a DIV and using some CSS techniques but failed to make it look right..
