Shortcode as default value?

    I have created a custom text field on one of my products and wish for it’s valve to be generated from my plugin. It requires a shortcode of [xenfield] to do this and works everywhere else on my wordpress site, but it just displays [xenfield] as the value of a text box.

    How can i get the value of the field to call for my plugin script?
