Try downloading it again andanually installing. Let me know if that resolves your issue. This issue is in the FAQ.
Thanks for the reply.
Ok, I deactivated the plugin, deleted the files, then downloaded the plugin again and uploaded it via FTP. I activated it, and still no button.
One thing I noticed is that my FA config setting (the base directory) was still there in the new installation (even though I’d deleted the file-away directory entirely). So WP is saving that somewhere. Is there something else I need to delete when I delete the plugin?
Thanks for your help.
Yes, the settings are saved in the WP database, not in the plugin directory. What version of WordPress are you using?
3.9. Also updated yesterday.
Well that’s very strange. Would you be able to provide me temporary admin access?
I updated on my 3.9 installation using the regular WP plugin update utility and had no problems, so I’d like to figure out what the deal is on your end.
Thanks. Fixed. It was a typo in my ssfa-modal.js file. I was referencing the icon from my Eyes Only plugin instead of the File Away icon. I’ve uploaded a new version (1.7.7.1), but you don’t need to download it as your installation is fixed. Thanks for the help!
The reason I wasn’t experiencing the problem when I updated File Away is because I also have Eyes Only installed and so my typo still found what it needed with Eyes Only there. That’s how I missed it. Thanks again.
Thanks. This is a fantastic plugin that is doing exactly what I needed! I am grateful for your work!
So glad to hear it. Thanks so much for your feedback. I’m all warm and fuzzy. π
