Shortcode did not work in an Events plugin

I am trying to use a Shortcode variable for an address. It displays correctly when embedded in text on a page. When I use the shortcode in a field in my All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly plugin it is not translated. Am I doing anything incorrect or is it that the Events plugin is preventing the translation?
