    Hi there,

I’ve just installed IdeaPush – thanks it is just what i was looking for. We plan to use it to collaborate with readers on our editorial backlog.

I’m having an issue with shortcodes displaying in the board preview however – see the link above. When I click on the idea page the issue resolves and the image displays properly.

Are you able to help? Thanks in advance.

    Jonny.

    Hi @lifeatthelearningpoint,

Unfortunately shortcodes won’t display properly on the boards. I can appreciate this can be a little frustrating, but the reason for this is that IdeaPush has been designed to accept user created ideas (as per the sidebar on the page) and due to both security and performance concerns there are issues with allowing shortcodes to be utilised in this content.

By hacking things around, it’s technically possible to do what you are saying but due to the reasons I mentioned above it’s not something that will ever form part of the core plugin.

    Thanks,
