Hi caynz,
thanks for reaching out.
Yes, it’s not possible to load a donation form via AJAX since it needs dependencies such as checkout and payment gateway scripts. Did you just use a plain Shortcode Block when you added the donation form or did you try to add the content inside of eg a popup?
What do you mean by “initial donation page”? You can configure quite a lot of stuff here (eg changing the colors in the plugin settings or setting the default donation amounts).
Best,
Jonas
Hi Jonas,
I would like to follow up on this. i tried to build a footer in elementor pro and I want to include this shortcode in the footer. I also get the AJAX error. Yes, i used the shortcode block. This doesnt work in general, regardless if i put the shortcode block in the footer or on a regular page. i also asked chatGPT for some workaround but those where useless.
it told me to deactivate AJAX in the plugin settings which i can’t find an option for.
Before i used elementor, i used the ocean WP Theme and was able to include the form in the footer.
Do you have any new suggestions on how to include the donation form in elementor?
Kind Regards
Jonathan
Hello @flinnn.
I have the same situation as jdelvendahl has. Can you please suggest us what to do?

Hi Jonathan and diana677,
thanks for reaching out.
I’ve just tried to reproduce the issue and it seems like the ‘This shortcode does not support AJAX calls.’ message is only shown within the Elementor editor view. After saving and opening the page as a normal visitor the donation form is fully functional and visible for me.
Best
