Our legacy V1 views are no longer supported, but you can Show Events Based on Custom Fields — this article will walk you through how to set this up, while using our updated V2 views.
But, there is not a built-in way to use these custom fields within Events Calendar Pro’s shortcodes.

Am I right that:
(c) the direct use of the following shortcodes to display events of a particular “District” (which is a custom field), will NOT work?

(d) we have to write our own plugin according to “Show Events Based on Custom Fields”

That’s correct, this would require custom development — it wouldn’t work “out of the box” with your custom fields.
