Shortcode for dashboard does not work

Hello. I’ve run into an issue – one of the shortcodes isn’t working. For example, [webbabooking] and [webbabooking category_list=yes] work fine, but [webba_user_dashboard] does not. I add the shortcode to a page and save it, but it still doesn’t work. I tried both in a text block and a shortcode element. I used to have WP Fast Cache installed, but I deleted it – still no change. It’s strange because the other shortcodes work and show the booking, but this one – which should let the client cancel a reservation – doesn’t. What could be the issue?

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The User Dashboard feature is only available in the Pro version. For the Free version, customers can still cancel their appointments by clicking the cancellation link included in the email notifications.

To enable this, include the #cancel_link placeholder in your email template and make sure to set the “Notifications Landing Page” in Webba Settings → Email Notifications.

Thank you for your reply. Should the notification landing page be a regular page that I create, and does it need to include any shortcode? As I understand it, when the client clicks the received link, the appointment is cancelled automatically, correct? Or will they need to confirm anything on that page?

Hi @ovyda

You can create a separate notification page from your main booking page. However, you will still need to include the Webba booking form shortcode on that page for it to work properly.

When customers click the cancellation link, they will be required to enter their email address on that notification page to confirm the cancellation.
