Shortcode for display only

    Hi all,

    I was wondering whether there is a way to add a shortcode that retrieves the same data like the other StageShow shortcodes but doesn’t render a trolley at all.

    Reasoning is that now we have set up everything so that our backoffice only will handle reservations by phone (no public checkout functionality yet!), however we still want to display the performance data, number of seats available and ideally also the currently available seats.

    As I’m not familiar with plugin development yet, I wonder what would be the best way to achieve this.

    No there isn’t!

    However you could use the following WP filters to modify the plugin output:

    stageshow_filter_boxoffice – to modify the boxoffice output
    stageshow_filter_hidecheckout – controls if the checkout button is displayed
    stageshow_filter_hidereserve – controls if the reserve button is displayed

    Hi Malcom,

    thx for the hints. The question about the shortcode was also rather intended to be a suggestion.
    Meanwhile I‘ll be implementing my stageshow_filter_boxoffice to mangle the DOM and remove everything I don’t need, unless I find the Output functions that just give me the output that I need (performance dates/available seats/link to up-to-date seating) to include those in my template.
