Shortcode for GetResponse not working
-
Since upgrading from Scroll Triggered Boxes to Boxzilla my GetResponse shortcode for subscription form no longer works in the popup. The shortcode works fine elsewhere on my site (in sidebar etc).

Hey alexmcca!
I’m no expert in this, but I just started my site in July and started on GetResponse. I was having the same issues where my forms would just randomly not show up anywhere on my site. I tried getting in touch with GetResponse, but they pretty much just sent me in loops. They had me try uninstalling the GR plugin and re-installing, but I think that only made it worse. I found out the GetResponse’s forms are not responsive to mobile devices. After learning 99% of my visitors come from mobile, I looked for another option.
Long story short, I ended up switching to MailChimp and have been really happy. I already use MailChimp at work so I kind of knew what I was getting into. MailChimp’s forms aren’t as exciting and I ended up also having to buy the MailChimp for WordPress plugin, but so far it’s been worth it and I haven’t had as many issues.
That being said, I also just posted a similar question 3 days ago as my popups don’t seem to be working right. Hopefully we get an answer on that soon! 🙂

Thanks for the reply Hayley! I’ll check all that out. Yes hope to hear more about the popups too.
We offer the plugin: ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/mailchimp-for-wp
It works very well with Boxzilla.Since there have been no replies to this topic for awhile I will now close this ticket as resolved.
If you still have a problem or you have a similar problem as posted above, please open a NEW topic. Don’t forget to include a link to a page where we can see the issue whenever possible. Thank you!
