Hustle doesn’t have any limitation on using shortcodes from third-party plugins/themes, there are of course many of them out there so we can’t guarantee it will work with all of them out of the box.
Could you tell us a bit more about which shortcode you are using and how is it being added?
Are you using a plugin like this one https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/thrivehive/ or something else?

Yes, I am using that plugin on my site, but all it really does is connect my site to the ThriveHive hub.
I have created forms in ThriveHive and used Shortcoder plugin to create the shortcode for them.
I then inserted that shortcode into the text session of the Hustle pop-up creator. Doing so does not work – gives results as previously described.

I still couldn’t try on my side because of ThriveHive doesn’t have register/try process as usual. But did you try that shortcode in other places on your site? Like in pages? Maybe the problem is not related Hustle.
