Shortcode for starting month?

    I have a small calendar with three events in April. The calendar shows March, but I want it to skip right to the month with active events.
    Documentation says month=”4″ should do the trick, however that does not work. Any help much appreciated, this should be simple, right?

    I don’t see anything in the documentation about month=”4″. The search attributes are only for the [events_list] shortcode. The scope attribute doesn’t work for the [events_calendar] shortcode. When I go to Formatting tab in Events Manager settings and look in the Calendar section, I don’t see any settings to specify the starting month.
