I have content areas of my site that are loaded using AJAX. The problem is that the gallery shortcode used by the DICOM Support is not being processed. There may not be an easy solution, but I wanted to check if you knew of a way to load the gallery shortcode in AJAX?

What I’m attempting to do is load different DICOM series in separate tabs using AJAX. I’m doing this so that each tab content only loads when clicked in order to decrease the initial load time of pages. The tabs are loading using AJAX, but the shortcodes in the tabs are not being loaded/processed (i.e. just showing “[ gallery …. ].”

I am considering paying a developer to look into a fix, but wanted to see if you had any ideas first.

Not sure but you maybe need to run the shortcode manually using something like do_shortcode.
