Shortcode in header

Hi

I’m using the Point theme from mythemeshop.com (see here) . In the 728*90 field I can paste script and html codes under the themes options but I can’t use shortcodes? I have tried with this code <?php echo do_shortcode('[shortcode]'); ?> but that doesn’t work.

Any solutions to this?
