Shortcode in text widget stopped working

I have been using the plugin for a while now with no problem. The plugin has stopped working when the shortcode is in the WP text widget.

The shortcode add filter has been in the functions.php file and the shortcode works fine when I place it in the page content. Is this something your aware of and what would be a good place to start with a fix?
