shortcode in wpbakery

Hi there,

I installed the plugin because on the description it said it is compatible with wpbakery. I would like to add a table of contents in my blog post which is designed with wpbakery. I do not want to have the table inserted automatically because the place where it’s inserted doesn’t make sense to my design. I tried adding the shortcode in a text block in wpbakery but that didn’t display the table. What am I missing here? How can the table be added via shortcode to a page built with wpbakery?
