Shortcode includes ID for Quotes

I have seen throughout this support forum that many people have requested that the shortcode could include an ID feature which selects which quotes you want to be displayed.

I saw a request 2 years which the author said they were working on adding this feature however this is still not included.

Can I assume this is not something that will be added and look for an alternative plugin as this is essential for me?

Other than this the plugin seems to be exactly what I’m looking for so it is a real shame.
