Shortcode is not working

    Hi

    I was wondering if you could help me, the shortcode [foodonline] does not work with my theme it’s just displays the woocommerce shop page as normal. It works when i set it to the shop page of woocommerce but really i need it to work with my theme. Would you kindly help me ?

    Hi!

    Can you confirm that the problem occurs with The Core theme?
    Can you test with Storefront? Just to eliminate other faults.

    From reading this thread seems like none of the short codes for this plugin work. Would be hesitant to purchase until this bug is fixed.

    Hi seen475,

    do you use the standard [foodonline] shortcode with Storefront?

    If you are trying to sort by catgories be sure to use category slugs [foodonline categories=”categoryA_slug”]

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. I wonder if digital1989 was thinking that it would override the specific product category page. Is there any way to achieve this?

    Hi Guys

    From my understanding when using the short code [foodonline], it should display the restaurant menu on any page. Is this correct ?

    Yes, it´s correct. But if you put the shortcode on an existing archive page it wont work.
    “Any page” in this case means, any page that doesn’t have anything else there that interfere.
    Maybe we should write, any new page or any blank page.
