    Hi,
Even if i turn on the feature open registration i am not able to use this shortcode [lifterlms_registration] on a site.

Do i see the registration form under the dashboard if a user is not logged in -> yes

Why do i want to have this site?

My Courses memberships are sold via 3th party payment site, and via rest api the user gets created and enrolled into the courses and memberships.

I do not want customer to be able to register an account on the lifterlms site because this should be done automatic with the 3th party provider.

But i want customers to be able to buy a voucher code for others, and for this i need a lifterlms site that is only visible for users that get such a voucher code and know the url, and register there with the code to get enrolled to the course…

  • Hi @suremo,

What happens when you try to drop the shortcode on a page? Do you receive an error message? If so, what is that error message.

An alternative could be to set up a redirect for logged out users to a “cannot access page” when they try to access the dashboard.

This would require you set up a separate login page for users who already have an account and a separate registration page that you can leave unlisted on the site and only provide to voucher users to register.

Would that kind of set up work for your site?

Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Thanks and take care,

It does not work on a site ether, no error message it just does not show up…

sounds complicated as a workaround for a feature that should work…

    @suremo

Since a logged in user cannot register for an account (they already have one), a logged in user cannot view the shortcode.

Are you viewing the page as a logged in user? Try a private browsing session to see it work as a visitor would see it work.

If you’re not sure, could you post a link to the page where you’ve added the shortcode so we can have a look?

    Thanks

Since I haven’t heard back from you in a week I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. Don’t worry, if you have more questions or still need help just hit reply and let me know!

    Have a great day!
