Shortcode lists all authors, not post author

    When I add the shortcode [starbox] to my single post template, I get a starbox for all authors on my website rather than only the author who wrote the post.

    I am using the pro version(1.6.8). I just upgraded (deleting the free version 1st), and the free version shortcode functioned properly (the shortcode only listed the post author).

    Hi @andibarclay,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    This can only happen if the post doesn’t have an author. Do you get the same behavior if you add the shortcode like [starbox id=”author_username”] where author_username is the username of the author?

    Hardcoding the author id does work, but that is not suitable to use in my post template unless there is a dynamic field name that I could call.

    Each post definitely has an author. That is not the problem. This did work in the free version.

    Any other suggestions?
