My paypal buttons are showing up in the drop down when I click the paypal shortcode button while editing a page however, it is not placing a correct short code into the text. I just get this no matter which button I choose:

    [paypal_wp_button_manager id=undefined]

I am having to go into the buttons page to get the short codes. Why is the short code not working when editing the page?

We haven’t had any other reports of this, so it’s tough to say what could be going wrong there.

Could you submit a ticket here and provide temporary login credentials for your WP admin panel so we can take a closer look?

I can verify it. Not working right for me either.

I believe I’ve traced it back into paypal-wp-button-manager-admin.js, where the onselect is using _value, but shorcodeValues has options using value without the underscore.

Haven’t fully tested the fix, but that should be enough for an update or a place to start, at least. Hope that helps!

(Or that’s way off because I see it’s been like that since it went in well over a year ago. 🙂 )

Scratch that. (If I could html strike it out, I would.)

Even better, y’all are already on it!

Yes, and that issue is already resolved in its own branch. I just need to get through review / merging into the release branch and then you could grab it early if you want to.

I would recommend following that GitHub repo and then you’ll get notifications when issues are updated.

In fact, I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved since it is indeed fixed in the repo and will be included in the next update.
