Could you elaborate – are you seeing the shortcode as text on the page or seeing a blank page – what exactly do you mean by not working?
I see a blank, it does not appear as text.

The shortcode works correctly. There may be no lessons in the course or they can be in deleted modules or you may not have access to them. There are at least 10 possible reasons that you need to check. Create a simple course with one lesson and no class restrictions, modules or anything like that and try the shortcode – then you can start working backwards to figure out why the other one is not showing anything.
Also have in mind that if the shortcode is used without any arguments, it will only work in the course page.
