Shortcode not working in LayerSlider

Hi Justin,

I’ve been redesigning one of my sites with a new theme that includes LayerSlider, and my goal is to use self-hosted videos on the homepage. Your plugin seemed to be the perfect solution, and everything is configured and works perfectly on pages/posts, but for some reason the shortcode doesn’t work in the slider itself (even though the docs say that self-hosted video shortcodes from other plugins should work without issue).

Any thoughts or suggestions – even if it involves using raw HTML instead of the shortcode approach?
