new ‘show header and footer’ option removes main content

I tried out your new “show site header and footer” option – this works really well & even nicely applies my theme’s CSS to the giveaway page, styling things like the [show the content] button…
…however there is no content!!
That’s right, the <p> tag that contains the main content is not there.

But if I want to use the shortcode, I need TWO separate posts (my page/post + the giveaway post) containing the info for ONE giveaway… duplicating much of the giveaway page plus hiding the ‘read more’ link..
That’s a nice idea for very customized giveaway page, but I wanted to use the “simple” approach, which that new option has almost given me.
