Shortcode repeats content

    When I paste the shortcode into a page in the theme (Brandon) it shows and repeats the content of the event after publishing. How can I avoid this?

    When I past this code: [eo_fullcalendar] into a page, I get no calendar, but I get the code itself and lines (grey and dark grey) in the background.

    So the content of the shortcode repeats, or the events themselves are duplicated within the content of the shortcode?

    In case of the former have you tried disabling other plug-ins/themes?

    That’s odd. (And you disabled all plug-ins/themes?).

    So the content of the shortcode repeats, or the events themselves are duplicated within the content of the shortcode?

    Could you clarify the above? Also which shortcode are you referring to and where/how are you using it?
