Shortcode Revisions Not Found in Revision Queue

    Hello,

    I’m using Simple Text Shortcodes version 0.4 (latest), PublishPress Revisions version 2.2.1 (latest), and WordPress version 5.25 and PHP 7.3.

    When I schedule a revision to a shortcode, that revision does not display in the revisions queue. If I edit the shortcode, I can see there there is a scheduled revision and compare, but that’s the only place I can find record that a revision exists.

    Page revisions show as expected.

    Is this plugin not compatible with the Simple Text Shortcodes plugin? If so, it would be great if that functionality could be added – we make heavy use of scheduled shortcode changes.

    Hi @lobber. Thanks for using PublishPress Revisons.

    It looks as if that plugin registers a non-public post type. So that limits what we can do here. Revision preview will not work and integration with PublishPress Permissions won’t work either.

    That said, we are working on adding a new API hook that may enable basic revision submission and approval to work with your post type.
