Shortcode showing in Article Notification

Hi there, since the last mailpoet 3 update I have some issues with my article notification newsletter. Normally I select the option show excerpt of the article and it worked until last week. Now, instead of the first sentences of my article, shortcodes from my theme are shown. How can I influence the excerpt? Where do the shortcodes come from?
