I have a similar problem too.
The option “Disable Disqus Comments” under DCL Settings > Disqus Settings tab disappeared. I disabled Disqus Comments and added Disqus comments as a shortcode. Now it does not work.

same problem is show only the category comments not the custom page
and the Caching Support Rocker Loader Support need to be disable to load anything

Can you check if comments are enabled for this page? I have added new shortcode in latest version which is [dcl-comments], but the old one should still work. Can you try the new one?

I am using both WP comments system and Disqus Comments system. (I disabled Disqus Comments. Instead, I added the shortcode “[js-disqus]” to comments.php.)
In the latest version, the option to disable Disqus Comments disappeared.
I tried the new shortcode yhou suggested but it still does not work.
(I reverted it back to the previous version 10.2.4, which works well.)

Option to disable Disqus comments was removed by Disqus in their latest version. It was not a feature by DCL.
Can you share you comments.php file with me? You can email to me [at] joelsays dot com.
I tried the new [dcl-comments] shortcode. No luck.
I also notice that my syncing to wordpress database option was lost and I had to make a new disqus app to reanable it.
Can someone create a staging copy and share with me? I couldn’t reproduce this issue on my site.

If you are using do_shortcode function, please echo the output (example: echo do_shortcode('[js-disqus]')).

The plugin has completely stopped working after update. No auto synch, no manual sync, no comment count, no nothing.

Giving you an update. In recent days, another bug has cropped up, in addition to the issue of shortcode not working on pages. Now, even on my posts, the disqus thread is absent. Take this example:

But what is interesting is that my manually inserted header that I put in public/views/disqus-comments.php still shows up. You can still see at the bottom of my post the words “Before posting, please read our Community Guidelines. Stay on topic, substantiate claims, and be kind. Thank you for your participation.” But no comment thread follows.
Also reminding you that I did send you a staging copy login like a month ago. It’s still active. Let me know if you want me to make you another one, that reflects this more recent issue as well.
I was having the same problem with the latest version. I fixed it by doing a Reinstall and using shortcode [dcl-comments].
