Shortcode Stripping Not Working

Hey,

I’m using an ajax loader plugin to load my posts. These are custom post types. I’ve used visual composer to build the posts, and the visual composer shortcodes are showing up in the excerpts. I’ve tried multiple things like using “get_the_excerpt” as well as “the_excerpt”. I’ve tried using different plugins to strip the shortcodes and nothing works.

The only reason the second post isn’t showing the shortcode is because I used the custom excerpt but I would rather not have to use the custom excerpt.
