Sorry, there’s no shortcode to show only the registration form.

Thats a shame, the registration overlay is perfect as it does not refresh the page. I want the registration as part of another event form so I don’t want the page to refresh.
Is it possible to get the template to just show the registration part? I have this working with Popup maker to show on an overlay.

That’s possible, you can find details on how to do that under CUSTOMIZING THE WIDGET on this page:

If you want to keep the login popup for use elsewhere on your site, you can use the template attribute of the [lwa] shortcode to load a template that still has the login form.
The link above has more info on how to use the shortcode in this way.
