Shortcode urcr_restrict stopped working

I have been using the urcr_restrict short code for months, and it just stopped working. It is not showing the content and insted showing the default “This content is restricted!” message, even though it is customized.

[urcr_restrict access_role =”all_logged_in_users”]….[/urcr_restrict]

Hi @govital,

Could you please share screenshots of your setup? For example, how you added the restriction code and how you configured the content restriction settings under General Settings. These screenshots will help us assist you more effectively.

I have the shortcodes defined in HTML widgets:

I was logged in as an administrator, but I get “This content is restricted!” message. When logged in as guest, I still get “This content is restricted!”. In fact, all content is not shown, regardless of who I am logged in as.

Here is the content restruction settings. You can see that I customized the message (to just be a space), and that does not work either:

This was working last week.

Hi @govital,

Thank you for creating the topic.

It looks like the issue is related to the message not appearing when using the partial content restriction shortcode feature. We’ve successfully replicated the issue and have reported it to our development team. It will be fixed in an upcoming update.

Thanks @shresthauzwal — this was working before, so I am bit puzzled as to why it stopped working a few days ago. Was there an update that I should roll back? Do you know when the next update will be released?
