Shortcode won’t display in hero section

Hi there, I have a shortcode plugin to count my number of days away from my home country. The plugin works on posts and pages but doesn’t work in the hero section of the Onepress them. it displays like this

[countup date=2015/08/25] [dtimer] on the road [/countup]

what it should do is display like this

800 days on the road

Is there a way to get the shortcode displaying correctly in the hero section please?
