    Hi,

    I’m trying to use the Elementor page builder to create a membership account page that is a bit more stylized than the default account page.

    I am referring to this shortcode documentation for assistance in doing this: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/shortcodes/general-shortcodes/

    I cannot get the shortcodes to render on the page, or any page using Elementor. I’ve tried using the shortcode widget, html widget, basic text, etc from Elementor and it still will not render. I am using the free version of Elementor with the free version of PMPro. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, I even reviewed your documentation on using page builders: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/using-page-builders-for-membership-site/

    Still all the suggestions in that document do not help me. Wondering if I am missing something obvious.

    Hello Allison,

    Thank you for contacting the Paid Memberships Pro team.

    I have tested this with the “Text Editor” element Elementor provides and the shortcode of [pmpro_account] renders correctly.

    I plan on testing some other elements that Elementor provides to see if I can replicate the issue. Please let me know if using the Text Editor helps.

    I tried that and it worked too, the problem is I cannot get the [pmpro_member] shortcode to load or with variables such as [pmpro_member field=”first_name”] for example. I would like to break the membership account information into my own segments so I can customize the layout.

    Thank you for the feedback Allison, I retested this with the shortcode [pmpro_member field="first_name"] and it rendered the value correctly for me when using the Text Editor element.

    I haven’t been able to replicate this issue yet, what is shown when you try to use this shortcode does it show the shortcode or is it blank? If it is blank, can you please confirm you have a non-empty value for the meta key “first_name”?

    Hi Andrew,

    So idiot moment here. On the account I was testing on the first and last name fields were not filled in. So once I filled those in thing started to populate, makes senses.

    One last question, how do I just show the invoices section? I tried [pmpro_account sections=”invoices”] but that seems to pull in membership and account details too.

    I’m glad to hear it’s working for you, Allison.

    I’ve added the [pmpro_account sections="invoices"] shortcode to a page using PMPro 3.0 and can confirm that only a section of invoices show up on the page for me. Perhaps clear any caching you may have active and see if that helps?
