Mhhh – strange. Any error notices in the admin area? Did you change the shortcode name (in settings / misc / general settings – option shortcode) from mapsmarker to another name?
As you already excluded other plugins and theme as reason for this issue, I would need temp admin access to be able to help you here further…

took a look but couldnt find an issues with my plugin. It seems that your site in general has issues with shortcodes, as on the frontpage http://www.allterrasolar.com/dev/ the shortcode [layerslider id=’4′] is also not parsed.
Perhaps reinstalling current WordPress version (via Dashboard / Updates / Re-install now button) might help.
If not, I´d suggest searching the forum for shortcodes not working – if I have any further idea, I will let you know!

I just redeployed the dev instance using the same version as our live instance (WP 3.5.1) and now I am seeing that shortcodes work except for Maps Markers.
Any advice?
too bad. Anyway: is there a reason not to upgrade to 3.8.1? This is the only “advice” I would have at the moment…
