The [/content_control] shortcode is not working in my elementor templates – it just renders as text.

The initial shortcode – [content_control roles=”pmpro_role_3” logged_out=”0″ message=””] – does not display as text, but the content between the shortcodes displays for all users

    Hey @tnlceo,

For the initial shortcode, can you try the following using the classic or Block editor?

    1) Redo all the double-quotes. They look like backward double-quotes instead of the standard “. Maybe something weird happened if you did a copy/paste.

    2) Remove the logged_out="0" completely. You shouldn’t need that once you specify the roles= parameter.

Once that works, on a regular post or page, can you try it using Elementor?

If those don’t work, please reach out to us via our contact form.

That way we can get your details using a more private channel.

    Thanks for the speedy reply!

There might be an issue with my local set-up this end which I’m going to resolve first, then will try the above and come back to you with update either way
