    Hi James,

    I tried to add shortcode support in the free version but it was a support nightmare. Right now the plugin runs in a sandbox so no other plugins or the theme can mess with my code, which makes it super stable. When you add shortcode support you have to allow other plugins and the theme hooks to run and this has a high potential for bugs.

    I do support shortcodes in the pro version because I can afford to support it there. But free version not so much : (
