Shorten breadcrumbs

If you would like to use an alternate title, the Breadcrumb NavXT Title Trixx extension plugin provides custom meta fields to facilitate this. Otherwise, you could write some code that hooks into the bcn_breadcrumb_title filter (see https://mtekk.us/code/breadcrumb-navxt/breadcrumb-navxt-doc/2/#bcn_breadcrumb_title).
