Shortpixel and Litespeed cache

Hi,

After disabling the Shortpixel plugin, Litespeed Cache will still not do any image optimization (seems I did not remove Shortpixel settings in the DB) so how do I make these two plugins work side by side.

I found a small section about Litespeed Cache on https://blog.shortpixel.com/how-webp-images-can-speed-up-your-site/ but it’s unclear to me what Shortpixel settings I need to make.

If I have the Litespeed option “Image WebP replacement” activated (modifying htaccss), do I still need to check the option “Deliver the WebP versions of the images in the front-end” and choose between the two methods?

Can you let me know what’s the error you are facing? Why can’t you optimize your images?

Hi Gerard, no errors. Litespeed Cache just says it is done optimizing even though it has not done anything. So I reactivated Shortpixel but I’m not 100% sure about how to make the two plugins work toghether best…

Hi @ravanh,

I’m sorry, but I still don’t seem to understand what’s the issue here. If it’s related to Litespeed Cache, we don’t provide support for this plugin and its image optimization. We also recommend you to not use both of them, as you can run into over-optimization issues.

If you want, you can contact us here and send us some examples or screenshots further explaining what’s happening.
