Yes, we are already addressing it, but it’s not quite ready yet.
I was thinking about making a “bulk update tool” so that you could easily enable the options for all of your products, but then we decided to just make the default so that they show up for everything, and you can simply disable on individual variations instead of the way it is now, which is that it disables everything by default and you have to enable them individually.
We’ll have that done before long and then I hope you’ll give it another try!
We have just released an update to this plugin that reverses the behavior so that all Product Add-Ons continue to be displayed by default and will only be hidden if you check the “Disable Product Add-Ons” option for an individual product variation.

On a related note…we have a lot of ideas for plugins to do things that we have had to achieve through use of highly edited versions of plugins and typically mixed with use of ACF Pro. If you’re interested in some ideas for new plugins, we have been looking for talented devs to team up with, etc.
I’ll try the updated version. Hopefully nothing was set in the database that makes the previous settings stick. If that happens, I’ll let you know so you can add in something to “uncheck” upon install or something like that.
