Should I overwrite .htacess? Please reply quickly

    Hello. I have made a wp site in localhost/xampp. when I am using filezilla to upload that in a live server i found that an .htacess in already on the
    server. Now I have two .htaccess. One in live and one is mine. Should I overwrite the server one with my locally hosted one. please reply quickly
