I started coolpenguin.co.uk afresh. I copied the files and text I wished to retain then deleted the directory containing my website. Thereafter I deleted the appropriate SQL database.
Then when the site was emptied / zero’d I re-installed wordpress. Then if you want to buy a third party theme you can do so from [Moderator note: You can just recommend to check here: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/commercial/ ]
I’m at a loss at the moment. I inherited this site when i started to work here and although i took over it was set up by my predecessor. so i’ve never initially set one up before.
Can I ask if i did do as you did ‘Coolpenguin’ how do i start up and link to our domain?
I have done numerous websites and just used coolpenguin as an example. Firstly, I would ask that if you are unsure about the basics of hosting and linking to a domain are you the correct person to be designing the website? All websites, require a domain name and hosting package. Most hosting packages have wordpress as a free optional install.
