• the website im working on is mainly an informations site to various topics around egypt. its not supposed to look like a blog.
    im not sure if its more wise to do it with pages
    or with posts and categories or tags.

    PLEASE HELP ME TO DECIDE, …PROS/CONS?

    here is the structure:

    Länderinfo (has 30 subpages)
    Reiseinfos (15 Subpages)
    Regionen (5 Subpages)
    Sehenswürdigkeiten (15 Subpages)
    Presse (3 Subpages)
    Multimedia (6 Subpages)
    Angebote (6subpages)
    Lernen (3 Subpages)
    Reisetipps (18Subpages)
    Frag den Ägypter (3Subpages)

  • I’d probably say Pages — it would seem to be the most straight forward and you’ve already determined that Page hierarchy. If necessary I believe there are plugins that would allow you to assign categories and tags to those Pages.

    But with that said, install WordPress and test how categories and tags work and create a few pages to get a feel for how things work.
